SELF-IMPROVEMENT

12 Harmful Things You Should Never Tolerate

If we were able to acknowledge and delete the things we should never tolerate, we would all be directing in the authentic way in life.

But life is testing us from every twist and turn, especially when we need to deliver crucial decisions.

However, the things we can do are to eliminate our daily routines that will not bring about growth, but only it will bring us down to the ground and leave us there if we let it. It’s not about living the life as a hollow passage; it’s about living life as a passage full of new experiences and declining everything that stops us from being better than yesterday.

These 12 harmful things we should never tolerate are in continuous growth in 99% of all the people in the world. We should acknowledge and execute before it’s too late, although there is no such a thing as “too late” when we want to change.

1. Unhappiness at Work

One of the most common things in people is being unhappy at work.

The two reasons for this cause are:

1. People are lost and that was the only way to be productive and be worth in a community.
2. People find “the check in the mail” every month as a final solution to the problems, when happiness and satisfaction of work is on the lowest level possible.

To get out the toxic zone we have to risk both of the reasons above. Who knows if we are going to succeed or not if we take the journey to the “unknown”? Who knows if we are going to be productive in a new community? Nobody knows, but our actions prepared to be taken.

Comfort zone is stopping the growth of every person and as I crossed one quote it defined this precisely:

“If you want to change, you have to be willing to get uncomfortable”

2. Long Commute

Long distances not only will take 1/5th of your day, but it will also take 1/5th of your life. Beware of the distanced jobs. You can always change your place of living or find another job in the surroundings.

“Maybe home is nothing but two arms holding you tight when you’re at your worst.”

3. Unhealthy Lifestyle

There are so many topics included in “unhealthy lifestyle” that I don’t know where to start. In fact, all of the things above and beyond bring about healthy or unhealthy lifestyles depending on our choices.

Eating junk food, sleeping late or not sleeping (one of the Top 10 Brain Damaging Habits), not including vitamins in your daily intake, not including activities in your daily routines will all give you an unhealthy lifestyle. There is not one happy person having an unhealthy lifestyle. Happiness includes healthy habits, period.

“The greatest wealth is health.” – Virgil

4. Draining Relationships

I think in this case, most people fabricate the thought that they are in draining relationship and never seem to cut off. They keep inventing, giving all their energy and keep spending their life on something that will only take away their time (the most valuable and unrenewable resource.)

Get the courage and motivate yourselves to get out of something that prevents your growth.

“You can have a pet zebra and put that zebra into a small cage every day and tell the zebra that you love it, but no matter how you and the zebra love each other, the fact remains, that the zebra should be let out of that cage and should belong to someone who can treat it better, the way it should be treated, someone who can make it happy.”

5. Disordered Living Space

Not more than a year ago, I had my space eased up. That was a big relief.

I don’t think that someone wants to live in a space full of empty KFC boxes, empty beer bottles and clothes all over the floor. Only a bad habit can make that living possible.

Cleaning our environment will emerge another healthier habit, as smoking cigarettes and sport does.

When we workout or have a long run, we don’t want to smoke before, during, or after the workout. That makes it at least 3 hours of no smoking period. After a while you may want to appreciate yourself more and leave those cigarettes, since you are now a workout junkie. You get my point?

Cleaning our environment will give credit to another healthy habit, such as cleaning your work before things start to get “messy.”

“Household is what a woman does that nobody notices unless she hasn’t done it.”

6. Negativity

There is no worse thing that being negative in any second of the day, especially around other people. Pessimist is another form of negativity.

Negativity can be felt in the air we breathe. Sometimes we can feel our friend’s fight at home the first two seconds of his/her arrival. It’s kind of energy floating all around us.

However, to stay out of negativity, we must possess daily habits that will prevent negative intake. Letting go of particular things can help us ease the negative flow of energy.

“You can’t live a positive life with negative mind.”

7. Too Much Stuff

Having too much stuff going on can burden our focus and energy. It’s no lie that we have limited energy throughout the day and if our choices are bad, that day will be a waste of time (and energy.)

Narrowing our focus and concentrating on things we should use our energy, will bring about our vision in real life. We have to obsess with particular thing and formulate everything around that thing.

Imagine it a bubble with an extraordinary idea inside; and get stuck in that bubble until that idea comes alive in the real world.

“If you chase two rabbits, both will escape.”

8. Financial Problems

Finances seem to be the #1 problem. They have the biggest influence in the material world. Through time, they became similar like in ancient times when they use to gather and hunt animals to collect food for their families. Now the money is the hunt alone.

To define people and their character there is one quote of wisdom:

“Don’t tell me where your priorities are. Show me were you spend your money and I’ll tell you what they are”

When we see on what people spend money, we can conclude their vision of how they would like to imagine themselves in the future. It’s a great trick to see what a person plans for their future.

“Big part of financial freedom is having your heart and mind free from worry about the what-ifs of life.”

9. Living Without Fun

What’s life without fun? If we don’t find time to have some fun and enjoy the moments, we can never have positive life and worth-having memories.

We need to find fun in every task we do. If our task removes the fun factor, we definitely don’t chase our vision. It’s not always going to be rainbows and sunshine’s, but if we don’t enjoy what we do, we don’t go out to have a fun-chatting night, or things don’t give us enjoyment, amusement, or lighthearted pleasure, we are doing life wrong.

“Winning is only half of it. Having fun is the other half.” – Bum Phillips

10. Living Out of Your Integrity

Success will come and go, but integrity will always stay. Integrity is a personal choice coming from well-suited character.

The word integrity evolved from the Latin adjective integer, meaning whole or complete. In this context, integrity is the inner sense of “wholeness” deriving from qualities such as honesty and consistency of character. It means that we are a “whole person” and that we possess the most authentic mind-set.

“The strength of a nation derives from the integrity of the home.” – Confucius

11. Accepting Ignorance

As a life coach, spending energy to make a person’s life better, I’ve crossed many people who are always pessimistic about things, even about the best inspiring and motivational quotes (as you can find many on my Facebook Page.)

There are so negative people that it has caught in their roots. They are not only here to ruin your positivity, but they want to convince you that negative outlook and looking bad at things is the only choice. Here we should accept ignorance and try to help those who seek it. It’s one thing to have different perspective, and it’s another to be destructive about another perspective.

“Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”

12. Lack of Communication

Some people have soul opened to every wind, and some people’s souls are clustered inside with iron fence.

The two types of people: introverts and extroverts divide themselves from being socially active and socially inactive. It’s okay to zip your mouth in useless conversations, but it’s crucial to share thoughts with one another. That’s the actual meaning of life, to express ourselves through actions and communication to better this world on one way or another.

“Good words are worth much, and cost little.” – George Herbert
