When you think about that quote, people have meaning because of other people.
The nursing homes are not the most pleasant places to be. There’s constantly talk in the news of bad treatment, bad management, and mishandling of patients at various homes around the country.
However, Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle is home to more than 400 elderly residents. It is also home to a preschool.
Putting a preschool in a nursing home actually sounds like a extraordinary idea. I wish we could make this happen on a large scale. Doing so would make the world a better place!
So what can the very young and the very old offer each other if given a chance?
